Torqvane shows a drone pilot whether a point can be flown before take-off. Set your position or long-press the map, and the verdict card answers FLY, COORDINATE, NO-FLY or UNVERIFIED, with the reasons, the zones at that point and their ceilings, the nearest restriction and the data age.
For professional and serious hobby pilots in Europe: geozones from aviation authorities and open aviation data, a logbook with share-sheet import, team tasks, a sealed pre-flight check and zone packs for when the signal drops.
GEOZONES AND THEIR SOURCES
Zone data for 67 countries, refreshed automatically. In 31 of them, most of Europe included, it comes from national aviation authorities and air navigation providers, with the authority and a verification link on every zone. The other countries use an open aviation database and are marked approximate. Every zone shows its class (prohibited, authorisation required, conditional, info), altitude limits and reason. Where the source publishes validity windows, temporary zones carry them: ended zones are hidden, future zones are drawn dashed with their start date, and the verdict counts only zones active at flight time.
THE VERDICT
A point is never marked FLY on stale or missing data. Each result lists its reasons, including GPS accuracy that reaches a zone boundary. Follow mode keeps the verdict updating as you move, with a haptic warning when the level turns red or amber. The verdict is decision support from published zone data; the pilot remains responsible for the flight.

FLIGHT LOGBOOK
Import DJI .txt flight logs from the iOS share sheet or the Files app. PX4 ULog (.ulg) and EdgeTX/OpenTX telemetry .csv are read too, and a KML work area can be shared the same way. Each flight opens with overview, events, track playback, compliance and plan-vs-actual tabs. Flights whose controller never hands its log to the phone are added manually: aircraft, start time, duration, place and note. Entries saved on the phone go out when there is signal.
PRE-FLIGHT CHECK
A 12-item checklist with six blocking items (batteries, propellers, return-to-home height, insurance, geozone checked for this site, uninvolved people outside the area), other items such as NOTAM or zone authorisation and weather, and risk factors recorded as reasons. Sealing is final: the server writes the time and nothing edits the content afterwards. Sealed with no signal, it is stored on the phone and queued.
TEAM AND TASKS
An administrator draws a work area, sets the swath width, due date and assignee, and the task shows from logged tracks how much of the area was flown. In the field a pilot filters what is due today, sees from live GPS whether they are inside the area, opens directions in the system map app and marks it done with a note to the office. Pilots join from an invitation link that opens in the app.
MISSION PLANNER
Draw a route, check it against geozones for the planned flight time, save it as a work order and compare plan with actual after the flight.
ZONE PACKS FOR THE FIELD
Install zone packs per country or the Baltic set; with the app already open, the verdict keeps answering after the signal drops. Each pack shows its data age and whether newer data is on the server; storage is capped at 500 MB. Map imagery needs a connection.
REPORTS AND YOUR DATA
Export a bilingual operator report (pilots, flights, hours, aircraft) and a copy of all your data from the account menu. Files go out via the share sheet; previews open in Quick Look.
MADE FOR THE FIELD
Interface in English and Latvian. Large touch targets, a screen that stays awake while following, a sign-in that stays on the phone. Location is used only while the app is open and only when you ask.
