MatchCam — Match Recorder
Record with one or two phones
Only for iPhone
Free · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
iPhone
Record your match with the phones you already have.
Use one iPhone in SOLO mode, or pair an iPhone running MatchCam as MAIN with a compatible iPhone or Android phone as SECOND. The Android phone needs the separate MatchCam Second Camera app. Mixed iPhone + Android pairs use the same Wi-Fi or hotspot.
RECORD AND KEEP YOUR ORIGINALS
• Start and stop both paired cameras from MAIN
• Keep recordings on each phone, with matching session information
• Check the second camera preview and connection status
• Use the setup guide and level indicators to align your rig
• Share your recordings and session files for processing
SET UP FOR YOUR PITCH
From behind the tripod facing the pitch: put MAIN on your right and SECOND on your left. Keep both phones secure in landscape, overlap their views at halfway, and check that the two views cover all four pitch corners. Lens coverage and recording resolution depend on the phones. The Android companion uses automatic exposure and may have a narrower view than an iPhone ultra-wide camera.
OPTIONAL ONLINE FEATURES
Sign in to EasyChamp to upload a recorded match. Compatible iPhones can also stream to YouTube or a configured streaming destination. Streaming needs internet access and eligibility at your chosen service. Panorama and automatic follow-cam processing are early-access features; results depend on setup, footage and device performance.
Keep MatchCam open on both phones while recording. Check storage, battery, temperature and coverage before the match. Long outdoor sessions require testing with your own phones and mount.
The recorder is free. Learn more and see setup guidance at easychamp.com/matchcam.
