Hollywood Talent Tycoon is a talent agency management game. You run your own Hollywood agency: sign actors and actresses, send them to auditions and get them roles in movies, TV series and commercials.
Start in 1960 with one unknown client and grow into the biggest talent agency in town, decade by decade, for as long as you like.
RUN YOUR TALENT AGENCY
• Sign actors and actresses and build your roster
• Read the casting board and put your clients up for the right parts
• Negotiate fees and contracts, and keep your clients happy
• Train their acting skills and grow their fame
• Scout new talent: every actor has a hidden talent you have to discover
GROW INTO A MEDIA EMPIRE
• Move from your mother's garage through ten premises to a media empire
• Hire staff: scouts, a casting manager, a trainer, a stylist and lobbyists
• Open a scriptwriting office, a movie studio and a television studio
• Produce your own movies and series starring your own clients
A LIVING HOLLYWOOD
• From 1960 on, with no end year: genres rise and fall, the box office keeps changing
• Compete with 25 rival agencies for the same roles
• Win Astra Awards for your clients and your pictures
• Fashion: every client has a fashion meter, so book a stylist before the red carpet
• Real careers: typecasting, romance, scandals, children who inherit talent, retirement
• A private life of your own: dating, marriage and a family name
PLAY AT YOUR OWN PACE
• No timers: play one week or a whole decade in one sitting
I’ve played many time lapse games. And none has hit my fancy quite like this one. If I had one complaint is there is nothing that happens when I’m not playing, so I spend wayyy to much time on it. You pick a character and then a forever client (choose opposite genders so you can date & carry on the family, yes eventually have kids!!!) anyway you should start them out with small roles and work your way up. The game does not fully explain every game mechanic up front but just enough for you start, I restarted 4 times till I finally understood the following: 1- go small and get bigger. Age does not always matter depending on the role description. 2- scout but don’t recruit for an awhile and agents will come to your company some are gems others trash it’s a gamble. 3- Always make your first pick white (caucasian) too many roles require it if your language is English. Go for others later. In any case I really love this game. I don’t even know why I would recommend for improvement other than something for me to know is building me money or maybe increased rate of something (example one actor wants a break allow them to go on break while your gone & they will do such and such & you earn something) when I’m offline that would be nice.
Good game
