Missed calls have a Call back button. • When you open a channel, a New messages line shows where you left off. • Messages that mention you are highlighted so you don't miss them. • Your message list now shows each chat's last message, its time, and when someone is typing. • Profiles without a cover photo now get a cloudy sky. • Switching between day and night themes now spreads out in a circle from where you tap. • Bug fixes and small improvements.

Picking up a call now connects straight away. When you answered an incoming call, the first attempt to connect always failed, so it could take around 20 seconds before you could hear each other, and the call screen could vanish while you waited. Calls now connect on the first try. The empty strip at the very bottom of the screen is gone for good. The app now reaches all the way to the bottom edge, with the menu sitting right at the bottom.

Voice calls on iPhone have been rebuilt. Your voice no longer cuts out when you switch to another app mid-call — the person you're talking to keeps hearing you. The echo that appeared when you came back to the app is gone as well. Calls now start at your ear, and switching to speaker or plugging headphones in and out is more reliable. Fixed an issue where your voice could reach the other side twice. Camera and screen sharing are off on iPhone for a short while; they're coming back soon. Fixed the empty strip at the very bottom of the screen.

Calls now start on the earpiece like a normal phone call, with a new button to switch to speaker during the call. Please try making/receiving a call and toggling the speaker.

The mobile layout has been rebuilt around one idea: fewer taps to the thing you opened the app for. • New bottom bar: Messages, Profile and Community. Settings moved up to the icon row. • Messages opens your most recent conversation right away instead of a list. • Community opens the last community you were in, with its name and icon in the title. Tap the title to create an invite, change your nickname, open settings, or switch to another community. • Your profile is a full screen now. Change your cover photo, profile picture and online status without leaving it. • Video calls got a proper full screen layout: larger tiles, round call controls, and your profile photo on your tile while your camera is off. • Starred messages and mentions moved into the community menu. • The emoji and sticker panel opens centered, above the message box. • Help opens full screen, and the search sheet no longer scrolls sideways. • Alerts show up centered, and the reconnecting banner follows your theme colour. Thanks for all the notes you have sent us. Keep them coming.
