Uzbek — O'zbek tili The Niyyah interface is now in Uzbek (Latin script). Switch it in Settings, under Language. Prayer times in Uzbekistan A new method that follows the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan's calendar (muslim.uz), checked against its timetable. It's the default in Uzbekistan, and the city list now has every regional center, from Nukus to Andijan.

A new Today The whole day as a timeline: every window, its hours, and a live countdown on the one running now. Strictness is now per window Off, Soft, Action, Photo, Closed. Fajr can ask for a photo, Dhuhr for a checkmark, Maghrib for nothing at all. Two new windows Morning runs from sunrise to Dhuhr, Evening through to Fajr. Both open on Quran or dhikr. New statistics Screen time with a week-over-week comparison, and seven days of prayers. A setting can no longer be weakened in the middle of a running window — only from the next one. Tightening still applies at once.

- Bug fixes and improvements

Blocking is honest about itself. With no apps picked yet, Niyyah now says there is nothing to block and helps you connect them — instead of reporting a lock that didn't exist.

Better accuracy up north • City search. If location is unavailable or your city wasn't in the list, look it up by name — any city on the map. • The calculation method and Asr madhab now follow your country automatically. The madhab switch is still there, with a note on what's customary in your region. • Fixed Fajr and Isha above 48° latitude: in Canada, the UK and Northern Europe, Fajr showed 15–20 minutes late and Isha early. Times now match local timetables. • The date on the Today screen and the month in Stats now follow the app language.

A break from prayer The main addition in this update is Break mode. If prayer is temporarily lifted from you, turn on a break for as many days as you need: prayer-time blocking won't trigger, your streak won't break, and the Fajr alarm switches off and comes back on its own. The evening block and your Quran goal keep running. You can extend the break or end it early at any time. Thank you to the sister whose review started this. Also in this release: • Choose the app language in Settings — 10 languages • A warning if a subscription keeps renewing alongside lifetime access • Small fixes

What's new in 1.4: • Tajweed in the Quran — recitation rules highlighted in classic mushaf colors (ghunnah, ikhfa, idgham, madd and more — 17 rules in total). Turn it on in reader settings, where you'll also find the color guide. • New reading font — Scheherazade New. Pick your font in reader settings. • Niyyah+ screen — see your plan and renewal date, switch from the monthly subscription to Lifetime, and manage your subscription right in the app. • More reliable Fajr alarm — the wake-up ring series no longer breaks if you open and close the app the night before. • Minor fixes and improvements.

A big update • Quran — a new tab: full text offline, translations in Russian, Kazakh and English, three reading modes (pages, surah, mushaf), bookmarks • Daily reading goal — pages or minutes in the window you choose. With Niyyah+, social apps stay locked until the goal is done • Nur stats — your day in one number: Quran reading and the social-media shield. Plus an honest "time off the feed" counter and a reading habit calendar • The Fajr alarm can now ring before the adhan — up to 60 minutes early • Photo verification got smarter: in the dark it suggests the flash, and a dark shot doesn't count as a miss • All blocking rules now live in one place — the Blocking hub • Fixes: bookmarks and surahs now open exactly at the right ayah

What's New • The app now detects when you've moved to a new city and offers to update your location in one tap • Fajr alarm reliability fixes — it now always re-arms when you return to the app • More accurate prayer times across timezones • Localization improvements
