Hiloulot Tsadikim
Yahrzeit & Hiloula Reminders
$9.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Never miss a hiloula. A gentle reminder the evening before lets you light a candle in memory of our tsadikim — right on time, your language.
Hiloulot helps you remember and honor the yahrzeit (hiloula) of the tsadikim — the righteous men and women of Jewish tradition — every single day of the year.
Each hiloula falls on a precise date in the Hebrew calendar, one that shifts every year relative to the civil calendar. Hiloulot tracks it all for you, so you never have to calculate it yourself.
DAILY REMINDERS, SENT AT THE RIGHT TIME
A gentle push notification arrives the evening before each hiloula — in keeping with Jewish tradition, so you have time to light a memorial candle before the day begins. Choose exactly what time you'd like to be notified, in 15-minute increments, and Hiloulot will always send it at that time in your own local time zone, wherever you are.
BROWSE AND SEARCH
Explore the complete list of tsadikim, organized month by month according to the Hebrew calendar, with a quick search to find anyone by name. Tap on any name to see the exact date of their hiloula — displayed in Hebrew, in a clear transliteration, and in the corresponding Gregorian date.
TODAY, AT A GLANCE
Open the app on any day to see, instantly, which tsadikim are remembered on that date — including the full Hebrew date, written the traditional way.
HANDLED CORRECTLY, EVEN IN LEAP YEARS
The Hebrew calendar adds a second month of Adar seven years out of nineteen. Hiloulot resolves this automatically for every hiloula that falls in Adar, so the right date is always shown — no matter the year.
PRIVACY BY DESIGN
Hiloulot doesn't ask for your name, your email address, or any account. It only uses the minimum information needed to deliver your daily reminder at the right time — nothing more, and nothing is shared with anyone else.
AVAILABLE IN ENGLISH, FRENCH AND HEBREW
The app adapts to your device's language automatically, so the experience feels natural whether you read English, French, or Hebrew.
Whether you're honoring the memory of a personal loved one or the many tsadikim who continue to inspire generations, Hiloulot is here to make sure you never miss the moment.
