Granite (granite.co) is a document vault for iPhone. Scan or drop in a receipt, an insurance policy, a tax form, or a passport, and Granite reads it, works out what it is, pulls out the dates and amounts that matter, and files it so you can find it again.
CAPTURE
Scan a page with the camera and Granite straightens and crops it for you. Share a file into Granite from Files, Mail, or Safari. Everything you add is read and filed the same way, whatever door it came through.
FIND IT LATER
Search reads the words inside every page, not just the file name. Ask a question in plain English, like "what did I pay for car insurance last year", and get an answer with the document behind it.
STAY AHEAD OF DATES
Granite pulls renewal and expiration dates off your documents and tells you before they pass, so a lapsed policy or an expired passport is never a surprise.
ORGANIZED WITHOUT THE WORK
Documents group themselves into collections, and into the people, cars, homes, and accounts they belong to. There are no folders to design and no naming scheme to keep up.
WHAT PEOPLE KEEP IN GRANITE
Tax forms and W-2s. Insurance policies and cards. Passports, IDs, and Social Security cards. Receipts and warranties. Medical records and explanations of benefits. Car titles, deeds, closing documents, leases, contracts, and invoices.
YOURS, AND PRIVATE
Every file is encrypted. Face ID or Touch ID locks the app. You can export everything you have put in, at any time, in a format you can read without us.
Granite Free holds 25 documents and 1 GB. Granite Paid is an annual subscription that lifts the limits and unlocks Ask.

- Needs your attention: bills to pay, forms to sign, and renewals coming up show at the top of Home and on the document, with the deadline
- When Granite is not sure what a document is, it flags it for review. Confirm the type with one tap, or clear the queue with the Needs review filter in the Library
- Values Granite could not find on the page are marked as not confirmed, so you know which facts to check
- Collections show their filing rules
- Money shows with two decimals, like 1,525,000.00, and a document's fields appear in a sensible order, with up to 10 at the top
- Granite moves with more care. Screens settle into place, lists and cards rise in, and small haptics mark the moments that matter, like a document finishing or a correction saving
- Uploads show one live progress pod that only ever moves forward, then checks off when your documents are filed
- A document that is still being read shows each step as it happens, and its details fade in the moment it is understood
- Ask shows its work while it thinks, then writes the answer out and counts up any totals
- Copy a value and it says "Copied" right where you tapped
- Deleting a duplicate or revoking a share link is now press and hold, so a stray tap cannot remove anything
- Starring a person or company in Browse, or upgrading to Paid, gets a small celebration
