You sail somewhere new. Where you don't know anyone. With Nargusta, you already do.
Nargusta is a hospitality network for sailors. Members are verified by phone, vouched for by fellow sailors, and offer one another what sailors have always offered: a guest mooring, an introduction at the club, a berth on a day sail, a knowledgeable local welcome. Every privilege is extended on honor, in the Corinthian spirit. Nothing here is commercial, and nothing is a booking.
HOW IT WORKS
Verify and set up. Sign in with your phone number, declare your clubs, your home port, and what you can offer.
Discover hosts. Search near any port, or near your current position. See each member's clubs, their hosting record, vouches from other members, and club-verified badges earned through the web of trust.
Send a request. Introduce yourself and your boat. Your host answers with a tap.
Carry your letter. An accepted request produces a letter of introduction: who you are, your clubs, who received you. Add it to Apple Wallet and it is ready at any front desk, with a scannable link to the live letter. Letters are saved for offline reading, offshore or ashore.
PLAN A PASSAGE
Post a passage with your route and dates. Nargusta finds hosts within your chosen corridor of the rhumb line and lets opted-in hosts along the way raise a hand before you ever drop the hook.
AT AN EVENT
At a regatta or rendezvous, turn on event presence for a few hours. Other members who have done the same, within about two nautical miles, appear as nearby, and you appear to them. Positions are deliberately coarse, sharing is strictly mutual, and presence deletes itself when the window ends.
BUILT ON TRUST
Phone verification for every member. Club membership verified by fellow members or stewards. Hosting and guest records on every card. Block and report anywhere member content appears. Delete your account, and everything it touched, from inside the app.
Nargusta is free and non-commercial. Members must be 18 or older. A letter of introduction is a record and a reference, offered in Corinthian spirit; it is not an official access pass, and nothing on Nargusta is a legal or binding agreement.
Fair winds.
Push notifications now work. You will hear when a host replies to your request, when a member asks to visit your club, when a sailor's passage crosses your port, and when someone nearby switches on At an event.
