Renewals now shows its price-hike radar. Turn on email alerts from the Today screen and every week it checks the web for announced price increases on the services you track, then emails you before they take effect, with a link to the source.

Your first 7 days are free, and now the app says so up front. When you open Renewals for the first time it tells you how long the trial lasts, what happens when it ends, and what it costs to keep. Nothing is ever charged automatically. Also fixes the trial countdown, which showed one day fewer than you actually had.

A clearer name. Renewals now says on the App Store what it actually does: track your subscriptions, bills, trials and annual fees, and warn you before a price goes up. No changes to the app itself in this update — your data, reminders and settings are exactly as you left them.
