One glance at your menu bar answers the only question that matters across time zones: is now a good time? Free for two people, one purchase for everyone.
Whenabouts is a people clock: a menu bar mark that knows when the people you care about are actually reachable, not just what time it is where they live.
Everyone gets a bar showing their whole day in their own time zone: asleep, at work, free. Your own day sits above theirs with your real calendar painted in, so overlap is something you see, not something you compute. When you are both free, the mark in your menu bar lights up. That is the whole idea.
IS NOW A GOOD TIME?
· Every person's day on one strip, in their time, under your eyes
· The menu bar mark lights when someone you starred is free
· Hover any bar to read their day, hour by hour
· Propose a time straight from the overlap you are looking at
IT KNOWS YOUR DAY TOO
· Your calendar events appear in their calendars' own colors
· A meeting on the runway announces itself, with a one-click join link
· Finished early? One click frees your windows, one click undoes it
WORK AND PERSONAL, SEPARATE
· Colleagues appear during work hours, family and friends after
· A cousin who is also a colleague can live in both
IT TRAVELS WITH YOU
· Mark a travel day and the circles in the menu bar separate
· When you land, every clock and window retunes to where you are
BIRTHDAYS TURN GOLD
· Birthdays come straight from Contacts and turn the row gold
· Call, message, or WhatsApp from the row itself
WIDGETS
· Person, timeline, and world clock widgets, drawn from the same schedules
PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE
· No server, no analytics, no account. The app never opens a network connection of its own; your data lives on your Mac and in your own private iCloud, nowhere else.
Whenabouts is free for two people, full-featured. A single one-time purchase adds unlimited people, shared with your family. No subscription.
