Egyptian paperwork runs on cycles nobody memorizes: the national ID every 7 years, the driving licence every 10, the vehicle licence every 1–3, insurance every year — and a passport that quietly becomes useless for travel 6 months before its printed date. Miss one and you pay: fines up to EGP 3,000, an impounded car, a blocked bank account, or a ruined trip at the airport gate. Meanwhile the documents themselves sit unencrypted in camera rolls that auto-upload to somebody else's cloud.
