Food recalls in France: match scanned products locally against recent RappelConso notices. Check batches on the official notice. Optional activation. Read labels and identify processing markers. Sève identifies ingredient markers and provides a heuristic composition and processing index. This ranking does not measure physical structure, blood glucose or individual risk. The index, your declared preferences and history are computed locally on your iPhone. READ BEYOND CALORIES • Processing markers detected in the ingredient list. • The roles of detected ingredients: emulsifiers, gums, sugars and flavorings. • Nutrition information when available. An estimated nutrition grade inspired by the Nutri-Score algorithm (a Sève estimate, not official) is calculated only when the category and required data are known. NEW: PRODUCT RECALL ALERTS Enable alerts to look for matches between scanned products and a recent window of public RappelConso recalls (France). Matching stays on your iPhone: no barcode is sent. Check batches on the official notices; no match does not guarantee the absence of a recall. YOUR CONSUMPTION LOG Confirm a consumption from a result after checking the amount and label unit (g or ml). The log stays on this iPhone; adding nutrients to Apple Health is optional and happens only on confirmation. Find, edit and delete your logged consumptions. YOUR EXPLAINED PREFERENCES (Sève+) Your declared goals remain identified separately from the reference score. Apple Health can provide optional local context without changing the score. COFFEE MODULE Explore 41 coffees from five brands with manufacturer sources, and search offline among more than 16,500 coffees from Open Food Facts. With Sève+, choose your coffee maker and tastes to get explained results. Refine the format, roast, budget or certification you want. Brands alternate for equally matching coffees. In My coffees, keep your favorites and, with Sève+, add your own coffees and their prices: everything stays on this iPhone and can be exported or deleted. Missing information still needs checking. The catalog does not cover the whole market. The module does not change the nutrition score; documented certifications are not an overall measure of environmental impact. Your preferences stay on this iPhone. IDEAS TO PREPARE Sève suggests ingredient assemblies for similar culinary uses, without competing brands or guaranteed nutritional equivalence. Some selections are made on your iPhone by Apple’s on-device AI, from a list of foods defined by Sève. Check labels, your allergies and preparation. PRIVACY AND CONTROL No account and no ad tracking. Apple Health context, online lookup and recall alerts are off by default and enabled separately. You can erase all your local data from Settings. For a product missing from the local database, online lookup sends its barcode to the LorisLabs relay, then to Open Food Facts. The relay also receives network metadata required for the connection; OCR content, Health context and history are not sent by this feature. Sève is a wellness tool. More reliable official recalls: updated database, visible update date, checks for unknown products too, and a warning when notifications are off. Easier to leave guided scanning.
