Build a beautiful personal library of your best creative assets. Preview, organise, update and drag reusable files straight into your next project. Curio is a beautiful personal library for the creative assets you want to reuse. Keep your best artwork, animations, audio and other creative files organised, previewable and ready for your next project—without replacing Finder or changing the way you create. Create in Aseprite, Photoshop, Krita, Blender, GarageBand, Logic Pro or your preferred creative application. When an asset is ready, add it to Curio. Curio stores its own library copy while remembering the location of the original source file. When you improve the original, Curio detects the change and lets you decide when to publish the updated version. Your stored library copy is never overwritten automatically. CURATE YOUR BEST WORK • Organise assets with names, categories and notes • Browse large, attractive previews • Search names, categories, notes and filenames • Filter the library by output type • Choose the preferred preview when an asset has multiple outputs MASTERS AND OUTPUTS Keep editable master files separate from finished, reusable outputs. Supported master formats include Aseprite, Photoshop, Krita, GIMP, Blender, GarageBand and Logic Pro project files. Previewable output formats include PNG, GIF, JPG, TIFF, MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A and AIFF. Master files are optional, so finished images and audio files can also be stored as output-only assets. REUSE ASSETS IN SECONDS Drag output files directly from Curio into Finder, Xcode, GameMaker and other applications that accept file drops. Animated GIFs play inside Curio, audio files include playback controls and pixel artwork remains crisp and clear. RETURN TO THE ORIGINAL Select Edit Master to open the original source file in its default macOS application. Curio monitors the original location and gently indicates when the source has changed. Updating the library is always an explicit choice. If a source file is moved or renamed, Curio can help locate and relink it without modifying the file. GROUP RELATED STATES Keep variations together using related states. A character asset might contain Idle, Walk, Jump and Attack states, each with its own master and output files. Related states are unlimited.
