Pulling Home down to refresh could close the app if you switched tabs before the feed arrived — most often on a fresh install, where it loads longest. The same fault sat in nine other places: app lock, sync, import, profile, goals and subscriptions. Leaving a screen while it is still working no longer closes the app.

Collections now have the menus the lists have had for a while: how the shelves look, and the order they stand in — Title, Number of titles or Recently added, which counts titles now, not the folder. A new theme, Ember: a forge lit from below, embers and haze. A series shows its status on its own screen, an episode no longer claims to have ended, and anime posters stop vanishing from the home screen.

The cast opens up. Tap a name and you get the person: biography, date and place of birth, a filmography with posters, and links to IMDb and TMDb. In films too — there the names could not be tapped at all. Films now open where the catalogue cannot be reached by name: the app moves to its backup address by itself. On a series screen the last card no longer slides under the tab bar.

Paper — a fourth theme: warm paper, grain, ink blots. Home can be a list now, not only a showcase: the same blocks, vertical. Collections got half the library tab, 60 icons, and adding a show from inside. "Where to watch" opens the title's own page on the service. "Mark season watched" marks a whole season. The widget's checkmark marks an episode instead of opening the app; anime search takes 0.6 s instead of 12; settings travel to the cloud and come back when you restore.

Home screen, your way: switch any block off and drag the rest into the order you want. New rows: films, this season's anime, similar titles, and shows you're caught up on. "More" opens a wall of posters. Your settings now travel with your backup — restore on a new phone and the home screen comes back too. Mark an episode watched from the widget. Collections show covers. Quiet hours on by default.

Accessibility • Contrast fixed in the light theme — the “Watched” label, ratings and progress were hard to read. • Reduce Motion is now respected: the loading shimmer, celebrations and slide-ins settle instead of moving. Fixes • Picking a language looked like it did nothing. It applies at once now. • The calendar countdown was cut off in most languages; the row was rebuilt around it. • Filters offer only the kinds you actually track, instead of emptying the screen. • Backups made before the last update would not open. They open again. • A file with an unexpected number could close the app during import. Also • Sakura — a new theme with its own dawn and dusk backdrop. • Faster with large libraries, and long imports no longer stall.

• New appearance picker — more themes and accent colours, and your chosen look now syncs across your devices. • Catch up in one tap: mark an episode watched and Eluna offers to tick everything before it, too. • Polish across franchises, discovery and the calendar, plus broader language support. • A rebuilt shared foundation under the hood for faster, steadier updates.

No more ads. Eluna Screen is now completely ad-free — the banner is gone for good, for everyone. And with no ad SDK, the app collects no data at all: your watch history stays private, on your device.
