Optional SHA-256 verification confirms that copied files match their originals. NTFS Master can also preserve an overwrite backup before replacing an existing destination file. STORAGE INSIGHTS • Find large files • Detect byte-identical duplicate files • Review used and available storage • See filesystem and connection information • Access connected drives from the menu bar OTHER EXTERNAL DRIVE FORMATS NTFS Master can manage user-selected drives already supported by macOS, including exFAT, FAT, APFS, Mac OS Extended and UDF. The built-in filesystem extension specifically provides NTFS read and write support. GETTING STARTED 1. Open NTFS Master. 2. Enable NTFS Master under System Settings → General → Login Items & Extensions → File System Extensions. 3. Reconnect your NTFS drive. 4. Choose the external drive in NTFS Master to grant macOS permission. 5. Start managing your files. PRIVACY AND SAFETY NTFS Master is sandboxed. It can access only the external drives and folders you explicitly select. For data protection, NTFS volumes left in an unsafe or Windows-hibernated state may be refused for writable mounting. Always eject drives properly and shut down Windows completely before moving a drive between computers. Requires macOS 15.4 or later. The Mac App Store edition does not format disks, create NTFS partitions, perform full filesystem repairs, or create symbolic or hard links.
