Exifier: Photo Metadata Editor
EXIF Film Scan Date GPS Camera
Only for Mac
Free
Mac
Exifier is a completely free photo metadata editor that gives your film scans the correct dates, locations, camera details, and film stock metadata, so they fit seamlessly into Apple Photos, Google Photos, and other photo libraries.
Film scans often arrive with today's date and no camera or location information. That means they appear out of order in Apple Photos, Google Photos, Lightroom, Capture One, and other photo libraries. Exifier restores the missing metadata, so your photos are organized exactly as they were taken.
Designed for film photographers, but just as useful for any photos that need their metadata fixed or updated.
FEATURES
- Restore the correct capture dates
Apply a single capture date or automatically create an incrementing time sequence across an entire roll, so every frame appears in the correct shooting order.
- Add camera and film details
Apply camera model, lens, focal length, aperture, ISO, and film stock metadata to one photo or hundreds at once. Save your favorite camera setups as reusable presets.
- Remember where you shot
Search for a place or drop a pin on the map to add GPS location data to your photos. Keep your film scans organized alongside your digital photos.
- Built for speed
Import an entire folder, edit multiple photos at once and export everything in just a few clicks.
- Your originals always stay safe
Exifier never modifies your original files. Updated metadata is written to full-quality copies saved in a separate folder, with no recompression and no loss of image quality.
- Works with your favorite photo libraries
Metadata is compatible with Apple Photos, Google Photos, Adobe Lightroom, Capture One, and other applications that read standard photo metadata.
- Supports JPG, JPEG, PNG, and TIFF images.
Whether you're digitizing old family albums, archiving negatives, or organizing your latest roll of film, Exifier helps your photos look like they were digital from the start.
