Mission log 1.4: the ship can hear you, and your score takes you places. Tap MIC on the keyboard, say the word, and the cannon fires. Voice is an option, never a requirement: typing stays exactly as it was, and you can mix the two in one run. Close counts too. A word that is almost right still passes, for a little less score, and the ship shows you the spelling it heard next to the one it wanted. Every planet gets a SPEAK station where you answer the card out loud and hear the native voice whenever you miss. The first time you turn voice on, the ship runs a SATELLITE UPLINK: it downloads a speech-recognition AI for your language (about 190 MB, once) so recognition is as accurate as it can be. It runs entirely on your device. Your voice never leaves the ship, is never recorded, and is never sent anywhere. Every run earns credits. Spend them in the HANGAR on your ship — hulls, trails, turrets, beams, keyboards, pods, a hat for Boomy — and on the drives that carry you to EXPEDITION PLANETS: new planets inside every galaxy with words you find nowhere else. Restaurant, small talk, dating, airport and hotel, office and email, shopping, slang, gaming. Two hundred new words in every language, each one spoken. The ship itself got better. ICE, NOVA and VOID now come in three tiers, from a light frost to a full stop, and you feel every step. HULL PLATING takes a second and a third hit. SALVO, a rare new weapon, fires three words in a row with real fire. And steering is arcade-crisp again: a quick tap nudges, a hold sweeps, the ship stops on a dime. Two new leaderboards: PLANETS CONQUERED and TOTAL POINTS. Quizzes are kinder: pause when life happens, skip when you must, and the third tip keeps its letter lit. A REMIX flight before each quiz mixes two tricks so the words come back in a new shape. Missed a day? The next morning the game asks whether to keep your streak. Japanese now types in romaji on the regular keyboard: ねこ is n-e-k-o, the kana stay on the tiles and the kanji rides above them. Prefer the kana grid? It waits in Settings under Japanese input. Plus dozens of fixes and polish across the star chart, the hangar and the HUD — text that stays where it belongs, planets that fade under the title instead of printing through it, and a smoother path from one mission to the next. All of it for one reason: to make learning a language feel like play. Fly straight, Pilot. And speak up.

Mission log 1.2: the biggest update since launch. Every planet now has a path. After your word missions come the QUIZ and the REVERSED QUIZ, then PHRASES and SENTENCES, the LADDER (word, phrase, sentence) and a SENTENCE QUIZ, and the boss waits at the very end. Ten words against the clock, no hints until half time, three tips when you need them, and every right letter buys you time. How to say it: under every word you're learning, a line spells out how it sounds, written the way your own language spells sounds. Tap the speaker to hear it. Clearing a node now counts you straight into the next one. Every run gets a grade from 0 to 100, your best score becomes a target, a boss that almost fell says SO CLOSE and hands you the retry, and golden crates can start a JACKPOT: five minutes of slower words and bigger scores. Also: choose one-hand or two-hands play, an extra-large keyboard by default, rounded keys, arrow keys and F1–F3 hotkeys on Mac and iPad, slower bolts you can see coming, and a cleaner score with ×2 to ×25 streak tiers. Fixes: arrow keys and F1–F3 work on Mac and iPad again, the typo "shield" that looked like a bug is gone (a typo now costs your streak, not a second press), star chart labels no longer overlap in longer languages, and the pause button moved off the score.
