A new look for every report. PDF and Word reports now follow the Zero Day Reports design: lead photo, headline, key facts, what happened, work done, costs, then photos. Six report types, in order: Roof, Make Safe, Electrical, Leak Detection, Building Assessment and Custom. New Electrical Inspection Report, laid out the way insurers expect: reason for attendance, site findings, up to three rectification options, urgency, and sign-off with your REC licence number. Company teams. If your company runs a ZDR team, it can send you a personal join link by text or email. Tap it and the app joins you to the team: your reports go straight to your company, and while you're on the team you won't be asked to pay in the app. One question per page. Filling in a report is now a walk, not a long scroll. The tick-boxes and dropdowns come first, then every written answer gets a page of its own with the guidance kept on screen while you talk, and the familiar form becomes the check-it-over screen at the end. Dictate into any field in your own words and ZDR now writes it up in the standard wording insurers expect: box gutter, water ingress, spray test, pointing, efflorescence and the rest. Nothing to tap, nothing to learn. It only ever rewrites what you actually said — it will never add a cause, a measurement, a test result or a standards reference you did not state. Every report is now a PDF and a Word file • Export or send a report and you get both formats. The Word file reads as the same document as the PDF, so an insurer or client can edit it without losing the layout. • Reports are about a seventh of the size they were, so they send faster and take less space. A clearer report • New Kingpin X letterhead, with the verdict and the headline figures first. • Every report carries a Z-reference (Z-YYMM-XXXXX) and can carry a job or claim number, on every report type. • The report names both the business and the person who did the work. • Make-safe fields are written in words. The app never guesses a dollar figure. Faster on site • Start goes straight to the camera. The front of the property is always the first photo. • Every detail in the report comes from you, the reporter. Nothing is read off the photos automatically. • Dictation into any field now responds reliably. • Works offline; drafting happens on the device and sends when you are back in range. Sending • Confirm before a report goes out, and re-send an updated copy after you edit it. • The Word copy travels with the PDF to Kingpin X and on the insurer email. Reliability • Photos are loaded at screen size, fixing a crash on reports with many large photos. • A report is not marked saved until it reads back from disk, and a complete report can never be overwritten by an empty one. • The app now reports its own crashes so we can fix them quickly.
