Explore the map without the view jumping back. We have improved search-area assessments using local habitat data, species observations and weather information, especially outside the Nordic region. Missing data is distinguished more clearly from unsuitable conditions. Includes additional bug fixes and stability improvements.

Mycoverse 2.0.4 removes unreviewed occurrence photos from species references. Species views now use local field illustrations or a neutral placeholder. Trip Mode now requires an automatic stop after 1–72 hours and always shows the end time. Design, navigation and stability are improved too.

Mycoverse 2.0.3 provides a more connected trip experience with improved maps, trails, full-screen mode, and navigation to saved finding locations. Species profiles and habitat guidance are easier to access, and more species have specialized scoring. Community, mushroom buddies, group trips, chat, profile photos, reporting, and privacy have been improved. We have also fixed bugs and improved stability.

Mycoverse 2.0.1 brings more precise habitat assessments with stricter drought and meaningful-rain logic, better trip planning and clearer species guidance. Community, profiles, maps, sign-in and the Premium experience have been improved. Latvian support and stability fixes are also included.

Mycoverse 2.0 makes it easier to find promising forest and foraging companions. Mushroom Radar now treats dry spells and meaningful rainfall more realistically. Community shortcuts make mushroom buddies and group outings easier to reach, while language and mushroom interests are simpler to manage. Sign-in, maps, stability and the Premium journey are also improved.

Explore Mycoverse before creating an account and see clearly what an account and Premium unlock. SoppRadar now uses improved regional forest and habitat coverage to make search areas more relevant outside Norway as well. We have also improved sign-in, stability and the underlying platform.

Mycoverse is now a more complete field companion throughout the mushroom year. Mushroom School has larger source-reviewed lessons, clearer comparisons, and a much richer seasonal catalogue for spring, summer, autumn, and winter fungi. You can request possible species matches from your finding photos to support further observation. Suggestions are not identification or food-safety advice, and the app still guides you to expert mushroom inspection. Premium adds useful stops along your walking route, private revisit insights for known places, season comparisons, and better trip status while your phone is locked. Maps, guidance, field content, and stability have also been improved.

Trip Mode now keeps your route and guidance active when you lock your iPhone. Put the phone in your pocket, continue the trip and return without losing the active route. Trip restoration and location-permission guidance are clearer too.

Take a source-reviewed field handbook and manual observation key offline. SoppRadar now explains conditions with clear qualitative guidance instead of leading with a precise-looking score. Followed species are separated from current and later-season suggestions, saved field briefs include reviewed field marks, and species in multi-species map areas open directly.

New in 1.4: Choose 1–5 target mushrooms before Trip Mode and see them on the breadcrumb map. Add private pins for known places, delete trip history, and use clearer Promising/Possible/Weak conditions with visible data quality. The watchlist now includes more seasonal mushrooms, berries and plants. New field-guide illustrations, an observation key, photo guidance and offline trip packs make the app more useful outdoors. Global forest validation is improved and search hints in open urban areas are filtered out.

New: a seasonal watchlist for mushrooms, berries and foraging plants, optional global GBIF search, and source-backed field guides. Map search areas now rank several relevant species. Search a destination or pan the map and choose to analyse the visible area. Community publishing is now clearly separate from an expiring private finding link, and community results refresh after sync. The free plan includes 10 findings; Premium adds unlimited findings and SoppRadar alerts.

New: source-backed mushroom encyclopedia, licensed photos, hiking routes, global forest and regional occurrence signals, species-specific search hints, SoppRadar, Trip Mode, feedback, community sharing and expiring private finding links. All current features are free in this release.
