Tanning App: UV Index - Sunlit
Tan Timer & SPF Reminder
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Know how long to stay in the sun. Live UV index, your skin type and a tan timer that shows an estimated burn time and reminds you to reapply SPF.
Sunlit turns guesswork into a plan. It reads the live UV index at your location, learns your skin type and estimates how long you can stay in the sun before your skin is likely to burn - so you can build a gradual, golden tan and know when to head for the shade.
WHY SUNLIT
A good tan is a question of timing, not luck. Sunlit combines real-time UV data with your Fitzpatrick skin type, the SPF you applied, your tanning goal and how much skin is exposed, then calculates a personal session length and an estimated burn time. You always know when to start, when to turn, and when to stop.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Tell Sunlit your skin type - or estimate it with the AI photo scan
2. Check today's UV index and pick your best tanning window
3. Set your SPF, your goal and your exposure, then start the timer
4. Follow the reminders and stop long before the burn time
