LineUp 3.2 adds three new popular sports: Touch Rugby, Softball and Tennis. Each one plays the way the sport does, from rolling subs at touch to innings at softball and singles and doubles at tennis. TOUCH RUGBY • Six on the field and two halves on the clock, with the Wings, Links and Middles on a field diagram. • Rolling subs whenever you like, with time on and time rested for every player. • A try is one point. Pick who scored, and Undo the tap that went astray. SOFTBALL • Set the batting order and who fields where before the first pitch. • Call every batter: Ball, Strike, Walk, Out and Safe, with the count, who is at bat and who is on deck. • Your runners' names on the bases. Say how far a batter got and where each runner finished, and every run is credited to the runner who scored it. A home run brings everyone in. • Tap a runner for a steal, a run or an out between batters. • Sides change at three outs or at your grade's run limit, and the line score builds innings by innings. • Out of time? Call the game between innings and it ends on the score as it stands. • Rotate fielding positions every innings; the summary shows where everyone played. • Choose the innings, the run limit and whether everyone bats in Team settings. TENNIS • Rank your players for the tie, and LineUp pairs the singles and doubles the usual interclub way. Change any rubber with a tap. • Enter each rubber's sets as it comes off court. LineUp checks the score fits your format: tiebreak sets, short sets or full sets, with the match tiebreak at one set each. • The tie goes on rubbers won, and Team Stats shows each player's singles and doubles record. LineUp 3.1 is our biggest update yet, and it's shaped by you. Coaches, managers and parents asked for more sports, scoring that matches the game they play, and a way to make the app feel like their own club. This release delivers all three. FIVE NEW SPORTS LineUp now supports Cricket, Hockey, Water Polo, Rugby League and Australian Rules Football. Each one has its own positions, field diagram and backdrop, so your team sheet looks right from the first training. Rugby is now Rugby Union, sitting alongside its League cousin. SCORING BUILT FOR YOUR SPORT • Basketball gets 1, 2 and 3-point buttons. • Rugby Union, Rugby League and AFL teams can choose Standard or Junior scoring. • Quick score buttons for each side, plus an Undo for the tap that went astray. A FULL CRICKET SCOREBOOK Score every ball as it happens. LineUp rotates the strike and changes ends for you, and builds batting and bowling cards as you go. • One-tap wides, a quick runs picker for no balls, and a numbered batting order. • Standard or Junior rules for wides and no balls. • A full scorecard for every game, with top run scorers and wicket takers on Team Stats. • Rained-out games are recorded as No Result and kept out of your season record. MAKE THE TEAM YOURS • Team colour: pick from our swatches or enter your club's exact colour, and LineUp re-themes to match. Switch teams and the app follows. • Team logo: add your club logo from your photos and crop it to fit, right in the app. POLISH AND FIXES • The full-time screen now shows who scored. • Left and right positions now sit on the correct side of the Football and Rugby diagrams. • Date of birth opens on a year grid, so it takes seconds to enter. • Signing up with an email that already has an account now takes you straight to log in.
