Upshell 1.2 is about working on many servers at once. TYPE IN ALL PANES Turn it on in a split tab and every connected pane receives what you type: update ten servers the way you would update one. The panes that are listening are outlined, so you always know. SESSION RECORDING Record a session as an asciinema file you can replay, or as clean plain text for a ticket. Only the output is recorded: passwords you type are never echoed, so they never end up in the file. SERVER STATS The status bar shows load, memory, disk and uptime of the server you are on, measured by the server itself every 30 seconds. Nothing is invented: if the server can't tell, Upshell says so. SHORTCUTS "Run Command on Host" returns the output of a command to your automations. "Connect to Host" opens a saved host from Shortcuts, Spotlight or Siri. ssh:// LINKS Links like ssh://user@host from the browser or a wiki open in Upshell: the matching saved host connects, anything else fills in Quick Connect. AND MORE • A short welcome for new users, starting from your ~/.ssh/config. • Settings show when your trial ends or your subscription renews, with a reminder two days before the trial ends. • If the App Store can't be reached, Upshell remembers what you bought instead of locking features. • A cleaner sidebar: a status dot instead of a badge, so host names are never cut short.

Built for people with a lot of servers. EDIT REMOTE FILES IN YOUR OWN EDITOR Right-click a file on the server and open it in BBEdit, VS Code, Sublime or whatever you already use. Save, and it goes back up on its own — no download, no re-upload, no second thought. Nothing is written to the server until you save, and closing the connection closes the file. MULTIPLE TAGS PER HOST A host is no longer limited to one label. Tag it "prod" and "acme" and "db" at once, then filter by any combination — a fleet has more than one axis. Save a combination you use often as a view, and it syncs with your hosts. A REDESIGNED DASHBOARD It now opens on what you actually need: Resume where you left off, and your pinned hosts. Both stay a fixed size no matter how many servers you have. The full library comes next, filterable by tag and searchable, and it no longer turns into an endless wall of cards. A SIDEBAR THAT SCALES Groups fold away and show how many hosts they hold. Select several hosts to tag or delete them in one go — importing a hundred hosts no longer means opening the editor a hundred times. TABS COME BACK Close the window with your tabs and splits open, and they are there when you reopen it, in the same layout — disconnected. Upshell never opens a shell on its own. You can turn this off in Settings. VOICEOVER The window can be read now. The environment colour of a host is spoken as a word, so "production" is no longer information carried by a shade of red alone, and every detail that used to live only in a tooltip is now announced. SAFER UPDATES The stored schema is versioned, so future updates migrate your hosts instead of risking them.
