Snap Reading: Family Books
Read Aloud & Create Stories
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Reading feels different when the story is yours.
Snap Reading helps parents and caregivers read together with developing readers. Enjoy illustrated books, listen to narration, follow each highlighted word and tap any word to hear it again. Then turn family photos, drawings and ideas into personal stories you can share at reading time.
READ TOGETHER
• Follow word-by-word highlighting during narration
• Tap a word to hear its pronunciation
• Choose books for different reading levels
• Slow down or replay narration whenever you need
MAKE READING PERSONAL
• Build interactive books from family photos
• Turn drawings and ideas into illustrated stories
• Record a familiar voice for story time
• Keep personal creations together in your library
BUILT FOR MULTILINGUAL FAMILIES
Use the app in 14 languages and explore stories with supported narration and pronunciation. It is a practical way for multilingual households to read familiar material together.
PARENT-LED BY DESIGN
Book creation, purchases, account settings and external actions are intended for adults and protected by a parent gate. Snap Reading contains no third-party advertising. Some optional creation features use credits or an in-app purchase; Apple shows the exact local price before every purchase.
Make family reading time more personal—one page, one word and one shared story at a time.
