Syderal (say it like "sidereal") is a family board game about the space race. Launch your probes from the pad, fling them around the solar system, and bring all four home to orbit before anyone else. Land on a rival and you knock their probe back to the start. It's simple to learn, easy to love, and wickedly competitive.
EVERY CARD IS A REAL MANEUVER
Draw from a 45-card deck of real spaceflight moves: Prograde Burn, Retrograde Burn, Hohmann Transfer, Flyby, Grand Tour. Split a burn between two probes, swap places with a rival, or drift backward into the perfect position.
SLINGSHOT LANES
Land at the start of another agency's slingshot lane and a gravity assist hurls you forward, the same trick Voyager used to tour the outer planets. Anyone in your path gets sent home.
SOLAR FLARE!
The card everyone wants and nobody wants drawn against them. Launch straight off the pad onto a rival and blast them back to the start.
CHOOSE YOUR AGENCY
Command Ares (Mars), Triton (Neptune), Miranda (Uranus) or Cassini (Saturn). Each color is earned by real planet science.
PLAY YOUR WAY
• Pass-and-play for two to four on one iPhone or iPad
• Game Night: everyone plays from their own device, in the same room or over FaceTime with SharePlay
• Mission Control rivals can fill any seat, from friendly BOOSTER to ruthless FLIGHT, so you can play solo too
• Put the board on the big screen: connect to a TV or AirPlay and the whole table watches the race
• Three spoken commentators call the race: by-the-book CAPCOM, a flight computer with opinions, and a breathless evening-news anchor. Pick your voice, or mute them mid-game
• Plays offline
LEARN WITHOUT TRYING
Every card carries one line of real science. Want more? Open the Mission Codex to discover what a Hohmann transfer really is, why gravity assists work, what a solar storm does to a spacecraft, and which constellations fill the sky around the board. It's always optional, and it never interrupts the game.
