Scribo is now on iPhone - Type a word straight in, or turn your phone sideways and write it with your finger. - A new Collection tab lets you browse your words by topic and language, and play the pronunciation of any word. - Press and hold a word to select several and delete them at once. A new Review - The start screen shows your streak, the words you've learned, and today's review at a glance. - Your streak is now a smiling sun. Miss a day and it still rises again the next day. - The review screen is simpler, so you can focus on the question. - Review reminders now give you a question to answer right from your lock screen. - Can't use your pen right now? Tap "Can't write now" and the rest of the session switches to multiple choice. - Use the flag button to report a question that looks wrong. Word screen - Tap the pencil to write your own meaning next to the dictionary definition. - Word pictures (Pro) are now warm hand-drawn illustrations of the scene in the example sentence. - A new learning progress page shows how your words are growing. Sharing - Share your streak and word pictures straight to KakaoTalk, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, or X. Also - Scribo now supports Traditional Chinese. - Fixed word definitions not loading in some regions.

A new guided start takes you from your first word to your first review. Review and Settings have also been redesigned to be simpler and clearer.

Reviews now pause to let you draw. · Draw it - partway through a review one word appears, and you have 60 seconds to draw what it means. Nothing is scored. A drawing you like can be turned into a card and shared. · Write your own meaning - add a sense no dictionary had, or one that only holds in the sentence you read. It sits beside the original rather than replacing it. · Save from the keyboard - a word the pen could not read can be typed and saved on the spot. · Subjects - record what you were reading when you wrote a word down. Meet the same word in another book and both are kept. · Left-handed layout - choose your writing hand and the tools and the word list move to the other side. · Pronunciation plays even with the silent switch on. · Phonetics are shown the way each language actually writes them. · Set how long the pen may rest before recognition starts. · A reminder when words are due, and a warning before a Pro period ends. · Definitions are looked up in every language your handwriting can be read in.
