Photograph a second-hand item from a few angles. MySellingMate identifies it, estimates what it can realistically fetch, and tells you which marketplace to list it on. WHAT YOU GET IN ABOUT A MINUTE • The item identified: brand, model, condition • A price range built from comparable listings that are live right now • The sources behind that range, so you can judge it yourself • A marketplace suggestion for this specific item A RANGE, NOT AN INVENTED NUMBER Second-hand pricing is uncertain. An app that hands you one exact figure is hiding that from you. MySellingMate shows a range and where it came from. And when the photos aren't enough to recognise something, it says so instead of inventing a brand. WHEN THE FIRST RESULT IS OFF • Correct the brand, model or condition yourself • Add a close-up of a label or logo, or describe the item, and run it again • Re-check the price later, once the market has moved YOUR ITEMS Every scan is saved with its photos, its range and its date. Pro adds CSV export and import, so the whole lot moves to another iPhone in one file. PRIVACY, STATED PLAINLY Your items and photos are stored on this device. No ad tracking, no analytics, no sign-in. To identify an item and price it, the photos go to our backend, a Firebase Cloud Function operated by Google in europe-west1, which forwards them to OpenAI to identify the item and Perplexity to price it. That step cannot happen on device, and we tell you before your first scan. FREE AND PRO Free: 3 scans a month and your recent items. Pro: 150 scans a month, all your items, price re-checks and CSV backup. Estimates are indicative. They are not a guaranteed selling price, and for anything potentially valuable a professional appraisal is still worth getting. SUBSCRIPTION Pro comes as a monthly or a yearly subscription. The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and the renewal is charged within those 24 hours. You can manage or cancel it any time in your Account Settings. Guided capture. The camera now walks you through a few photos of the item: the whole thing, another angle, then any label or logo. All of them go into one identification, so there is more to go on than a single frame and fewer wrong guesses. History is now Items. Same saved scans, clearer name. It is also the tab the app opens on once you have something saved. A new app icon. Privacy, said more precisely. Your photos pass through our own backend, a Firebase Cloud Function operated by Google in europe-west1, which forwards them to OpenAI to identify the item and Perplexity to price it. What stays on your iPhone has not changed. If a result is wrong or something is missing, tell us. 1.1 gets built on what you send.
