HealthSync for Home Assistant
Auto-sync HealthKit to HA
Only for iPhone
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
iPhone
Free forever for manual sync. One-time purchase unlocks automatic background sync — no subscription, ever. Works with any webhook-reachable Home Assistant setup.
Turn your Apple Watch and iPhone health data into live Home Assistant sensors — automatically, privately, with no subscription.
HealthSync reads the metrics you choose from Apple Health and sends them straight to your own Home Assistant instance. Nothing else, nobody else — no cloud backend, no account, no third party ever sees your data.
FREE TO USE
Manual sync is free forever — every metric, no limits, no trial. Tap to sync any time. A one-time in-app purchase (not a subscription) unlocks fully automatic background syncing, so data flows in without you opening the app.
WHAT IT SYNCS
- Steps and active calories
- Heart rate, HRV, and resting heart rate
- Sleep, with full stage breakdown (core, deep, REM, awake)
- Workouts — type, duration, distance, calories
- Blood pressure, blood oxygen (SpO2), respiratory rate, blood glucose
- Weight, BMI, body fat %, lean body mass, height, VO2 max, and more — 27 metrics in total
HOW IT WORKS
HealthSync uses HealthKit's background delivery, backed up by a periodic refresh request, so your data syncs automatically without opening the app. Exactly when each sync runs is up to iOS — it schedules background activity based on your usage and battery state, not a fixed interval. Recovering older data? Sync History pulls in months or years of history, typically in a minute or two.
BUILT FOR HOME ASSISTANT
Point HealthSync at any webhook-reachable HA instance — local network, Nabu Casa, Tailscale, whatever you already use. A free, open-source companion HACS integration turns incoming data into ready-made sensors, so you're building automations in minutes, not writing YAML by hand.
LOCAL-FIRST, NO EXCEPTIONS
No analytics, no crash reporting, no ads, no third-party servers of any kind. Your health data goes only to the webhook URL you configure yourself. The developer never sees it, stores it, or has access to it.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
A running Home Assistant instance, reachable by URL. Full setup instructions, plus the companion HACS integration, are in the app and on GitHub.
Built for people who already run Home Assistant and want their own health data in their own dashboards and automations, on their own terms.
Ratings & Reviews
More Sync History fixes: repeat taps on an already-finished backfill now return instantly instead of silently re-sending everything from scratch, and a Home Assistant-side fix means large backfills sync noticeably faster and more reliably again. No change to what's synced or how it's stored.
