A NEW FIRST PAGE Landfall now opens with a short demo: hear a book read aloud with each word lit as it is spoken, then hear an AI persona inspired by Dracula answer a question—all before you decide anything. TRY PREMIUM FREE Eligible new subscribers get 7 days free on the annual plan, and the offer now says exactly what Premium includes: every finished audiobook and 30 minutes of Talk each month, with no overage charges. PLAYBACK FIXES A finished podcast episode replays from the top, and the mini-player and lock screen always follow whatever is actually playing—book or episode.

Bug fixes and reliability improvements.

A FIRST MINUTE THAT FEELS LIKE LANDFALL New readers can hear Dracula, tap Jam on a book, play a preloaded podcast excerpt, and ask an AI persona inspired by Dracula—all before setup, downloads, or microphone access. FINISHED AUDIOBOOKS Published Landfall Studio readings now stream or download for offline listening. Premium includes every finished edition, and listening uses no Talk time. 100 FAMOUS POEMS Explore a dedicated public-domain poetry shelf alongside the included classics and famous-books browser. A SIMPLER PREMIUM PLAN Premium includes every published finished audiobook and 30 minutes of Talk each month, shared across books, podcasts, authors, and characters.

MORE FAMOUS CLASSICS Browse and add 50 famous public-domain titles, including Dickens, Austen, Verne, Shelley, Stoker, Tolstoy, and more. FREE APPLE ON-DEVICE JAM On compatible iPhones, discuss the exact book or podcast passage shown on screen using Apple's on-device model. It is free, private, works offline, and is clearly labelled. Cloud Talk remains available when you want wider book and transcript tools. BETTER OFFLINE NARRATION Landfall now uses a downloaded Apple system voice labelled Premium for offline narration. If cloud audio is interrupted, narration pauses and offers Retry instead of silently changing voices. OpenAI · Marin remains the natural cloud narration choice. PODCAST JAM THAT SAYS WHAT IT KNOWS Jam now labels its context as Full transcript, Current excerpt, or Description only. When a transcript is unavailable, it says it cannot verify the hosts' exact wording. TALK WITH THE PEOPLE IN YOUR BOOKS Build a source-linked profile of an author or character, then have a persistent voice conversation with an AI persona inspired by them — labelled that way on every screen and never presented as the real person. KEEP THE MOMENT Create and share a video of a People conversation. Audio/video recording starts only after you tap Record. TRY IT FIRST New readers get a small, one-time welcome allowance for OpenAI narration, podcast transcripts, and cloud Talk.
