THIS IS NOT A TAP-TO-SWING GAME
No buttons. No thumb on a meter slider. PitchSwing reads your phone's motion sensors in real time. A check swing is a check swing, a full cut is a full cut, and swinging under the pitch sends a weak pop fly to the infield. If you ever played sandlot ball with a taped-up bat, you already know how this feels.
YOUR PHONE IS THE BAT
An arced timing meter sweeps across your TV screen, calling EARLY, SWEET, or LATE in real time. Swing when the pitch reaches the plate. Land in the green zone, and your swing speed decides the rest:
Soft Contact: Squeeze a grounder through for a single.
Solid Contact: Line drive into the gap for a double.
Full Power: Clear the fence for a massive HOME RUN.
Trouble Zones: Catch the yellow shoulders on a mistimed swing to trigger a ground out or flyout. Miss the meter entirely for a strikeout.
PITCH SELECTION IS A SKILL
Chase a pitch outside the strike zone and you will whiff no matter your timing. Pitch lane mechanics dictate ball flight: pull an inside pitch for maximum home run power, or take an outside pitch the other way for a double.
