The app is for snagging and quality control 1.1 Starting a Survey The supervisor opens the app and slides the 'Start Survey' button to begin a new pre-check. Before the checklist loads they enter: • Site name and plot number • Inspector name and email address • Site supervisor and contracts manager email addresses • Work type — Rendering or Boarding (this loads the correct checklist automatically) 1.2 Pre Render Check (Rendering jobs) The rendering checklist is divided into four sections, each ending with an 'Other snags' item: • Blockwork complete, plumb, DPC cut off, weep holes present, present/correct • Scaffold access correct, pulled back, clean • Guttering and Downpipes fitted, correct length, dry walls • Doors and Windows fitted, packers cut back, foam cut back, clean and ready, clearance for beads Each item starts red (incomplete). The supervisor taps each one to turn it green. If any item is left red a comments field and photo picker appear automatically so photographic evidence of the defect can be captured instantly. 1.3 Pre Board Check (Boarding jobs) For boarding jobs a single dedicated section is shown: • Studs at correct centres • Pick up noggins done • Letter box fitted • Strike plates fitted • Plot cleaned and swept • Stair walls line up correctly ground floor to first floor • Other snags 1.4 Saving and Emailing the Pre-Check Once the checklist is complete the supervisor taps 'Save Survey' to store it locally, then taps 'Email Survey' to generate a branded PDF that is sent automatically to: • The Williams RPD office • The site supervisor • The contracts manager The PDF includes the company logo, date, site name, plot number, inspector details, work type, and the full checklist with pass/fail status for every item plus any comments and embedded photographs. 1.5 Saved Surveys — Marking Items Fixed All surveys are stored in 'Saved Surveys'. Each card shows how many items still need attention (red badge) or a green 'Ready for Completion Snagging' badge when everything is resolved. When a contractor has made good, the supervisor opens the saved survey and taps 'Mark fixed' next to each outstanding item — it turns green immediately. The survey is saved automatically when the view is closed. 1.6 Completion Snagging A plot only appears in 'Completion Snagging' once every item in its pre-check is green — nothing passes through until the pre-check is fully signed off. In this view the supervisor carries out a final quality inspection: • Tape & Joint Check — taping, beads, swept, screw spacing, other snags Boarding: • Quality Check — scaffold clean, cills and windows, reveals, flat texture, floor debris, weep vents, colour uniform, brick plinth, other snags Rendering: Items start red. If any remain red, a comments and photo section appears for that defect. The Completion Photo section (for the final handover photograph) is hidden until every quality check item is green — ensuring the completion photo can only be taken once the plot truly passes inspection. 1.7 Quality Control Report Once all quality check items are green and the completion photo is added, the supervisor taps 'Email Quality Control Report'. A professional PDF is generated and emailed to the Williams office and site supervisor containing: • Company logo, date, site name, plot number • Work type and site supervisor contact • Full quality check results with pass/fail for every item • Any defect notes and photographs • Completion photographs for quality assurance On successful send the plot is automatically moved to 'Completed Projects'. 1.8 Completed Projects 'Completed Projects' is a permanent on-device record of every plot where a quality control report has been emailed. Each entry shows the plot number, site name, work type, and the date it was completed — providing a full audit trail without any paperwork.

  • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

It was the photos. Every time a list was opened, the app downloaded every photo for every plot again, and each photo was being saved at full camera size. As more surveys were added, this got steadily worse until the app struggled to respond. The update fixes this. The app now only downloads what has changed, saves new photos at a sensible size, and only loads photos when you open a survey. Screens and buttons should now respond quickly.
