Version 1.3.1 adds 200 driving hours of DPF history, a customisable CarPlay dashboard and more reliable connections with compatible BLE and Wi‑Fi adapters. Alpha DPF Monitor displays essential diesel particulate filter data from compatible vehicles in real time. CONNECT AND MONITOR Connect a compatible ELM327 adapter using Bluetooth Low Energy or Wi‑Fi and monitor: • DPF load; • exhaust gas temperature; • regeneration status and progress; • distance since the last regeneration; • total regeneration count; • engine coolant temperature; • oil-pressure status; • battery voltage and state of charge from the IBS/battery ECU, on supported vehicles. DRIVING-TIME HISTORY Review DPF-load trends across the last 200 hours of driving. Time with the engine switched off is not counted, keeping the history focused on actual vehicle use and regeneration cycles. REGENERATION, ALWAYS IN VIEW When regeneration is detected, the app updates the dashboard, can display a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, and can send local start and finish notifications. This helps you know when it is better not to switch off the engine. ON CARPLAY The dedicated CarPlay dashboard presents essential DPF data in a glanceable grid. DPF load and regeneration remain fixed at the top, while the other displayed metrics can be selected and reordered from the iPhone app. You can also start or stop the adapter connection and manage regeneration alerts directly from CarPlay. TRY IT WITHOUT A CAR The built-in Test Lab replays a complete regeneration cycle, allowing you to check the dashboard, notifications and Live Activity before connecting to a vehicle. AVAILABLE IN FOUR LANGUAGES The interface is available in Italian, English, French and Spanish, with an in-app language selector. PRIVACY, KEPT SIMPLE Alpha DPF Monitor requires no account, contains no advertising or analytics, and sends no data to external servers. Diagnostic data, history and preferences remain on your device. COMPATIBILITY AND SAFETY Data availability depends on the vehicle, ECU and adapter. The app is designed for specific Alfa Romeo and FCA diesel models that support the required PIDs, including Giulia and Stelvio 2.2 diesel. Always check your model’s compatibility before buying an adapter. Configure and use the app only while the vehicle is stationary.
