Know what you own, where it lives, and who has it right now. wimb is a calm, private home inventory with a lending library built in. Sort your things into collections, give each one a place, and find anything in seconds. Then lend and borrow with people you trust, or run a library together with your street, family or club. No feed, no strangers, no ads. ORGANISE WHAT YOU OWN Collections that know what they hold Books, Games & Puzzles, Films & Music, Tools & DIY, Camping & Outdoors, Kids & Baby and more. The type decides which details fit: an author for a book, a player count for a board game, a size for a jacket. Every detail is a filter. A place for everything Rooms, cupboards, boxes. Open the garage in Places and see everything in it. Moving house? Give each box a place as you pack. Scan a whole shelf Scan a barcode and the name, cover and details fill in for books, CDs, vinyl and many everyday products. Scan one after another, then add them all at once. Search that finds it By name, author, brand or what's in the box. Typos and missing accents are fine. Receipts, warranties and your insurer Keep what you paid, when, and a photo of the receipt or warranty card. Export everything you own as a spreadsheet for your insurer. Broken, lost or sold? Mark it, and its history stays. LEND AND BORROW WITH PEOPLE YOU TRUST Your collections stay private until you share one with a group: a street, a family, housemates, a climbing club. Invite people by email or a join code, or make the group public so neighbours can ask to join. Everyone can browse and ask to borrow, now or for dates later. Accept, and the item shows as out, with the borrower's name on it, until it's back. What's in the box Give an item a parts list: charger, two batteries, the bit case. It's ticked off on return. No more "there were two batteries". Lend to anyone A friend outside the group wants the ladder? Lend it to a name you type in. It's tracked the same way. RUN A LIBRARY TOGETHER Things the group owns The street's lawnmower, the club's tents, the repair café's soldering iron. A group can own things itself: its admins look after them, everyone can borrow them, and they stay when someone leaves. The guestbook When something comes back, the borrower leaves a line for the next person: "Put up seven shelves with it." Shared things collect their stories. Chip in Nobody on the street needs their own pressure washer. Suggest buying one together, everyone says what they'll put in, and once it's bought it's the group's. No money goes through wimb. Boost a group The guestbook and chip-ins come with a boost, along with the group's own picture, colour and cover, a welcome for new members, and as many things of its own as it needs (10 without). One payment, no subscription, and anyone in the group can do it. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Places, prices, receipts and private notes are only ever visible to you, even on a shared collection. No ads, no third-party trackers, nothing sold. Start without an account, and add an email when you want to share. FREE, OR SUPPORT WIMB Lending, borrowing and groups are free, always. Free includes 20 barcode scans a month and 10 receipts. wimb Supporter is an optional monthly subscription that keeps wimb going and adds more for your own inventory: five photos per item, places inside places (Garage › Shelf 3 › Blue crate), unlimited scans and receipts, the insurance PDF with photos room by room, warranty reminders, total value, spreadsheet import, stats, app icons, your own flair, and a boost for one of your groups.
