Vortex bokeh, in real time. Bokeh Camera is a portrait camera for the swirling background blur that vintage lenses are famous for. Old lenses like the Helios produce a distinctive bokeh that seems to rotate around the center of the frame. This app recreates that effect live. It automatically detects your subject and keeps it sharp, while smearing only the background — in a swirl, or vertically, or horizontally — like strokes of a brush. On supported devices, the depth sensor blends the blur naturally by distance from the focus plane. Features - Vortex bokeh — the rotating, old-lens swirl around the center of the frame - Sharp subject — automatic person detection keeps your subject crisp - Depth of field — blur changes smoothly with distance from the focus plane (supported devices) - Three blur directions — swirl / vertical / horizontal - Painterly smear — brush-like strokes that follow the flow of light - Film color — a cool, deep-black film grade - Focal lengths — 28mm / 52mm - Tap to focus — set focus and the effect center where you tap - Full-resolution saving — capture date in EXIF, saved to your photo library - Japanese / English UI Privacy All photos are processed entirely on your device. Nothing is sent to the developer's servers. No tracking, no ads. Put your subject inside a swirl of light.
