SnapRead turns the printed books you already own into a fast-reading experience. Photograph a page. SnapRead recognises the text on your device, then shows it one word at a time so your eyes stop jumping across lines. The technique is called RSVP, and it is the simplest way to read faster without skimming. HOW IT WORKS 1. Point your camera at a page of a book you own. 2. Text recognition runs on your device, in seconds. 3. Press play and read at the pace you choose. YOUR PHOTOS STAY ON YOUR PHONE Text recognition happens entirely on your device. Your page photos are never uploaded, never stored in the cloud and never shared with anyone. READ AT YOUR OWN PACE Set the speed in words per minute and change it mid-sentence. Jump ten words forward or back. Pause and resume with a single tap on the focus box. Turn on pauses at punctuation so sentences still feel like sentences. EVERY BOOK REMEMBERS WHERE YOU LEFT Each book keeps its own position, down to the word. Open it tomorrow and continue from exactly there. SEE HOW FAST YOU ACTUALLY READ Real numbers instead of guesses: average and best words per minute, your reading streak, total time spent, a seven-day chart and a breakdown by book. EDIT WHAT YOU SCANNED Recognition is good, but paper is paper. Every page stays editable: fix a word, reorder pages, or remove one you no longer need. WORKS OFFLINE Scan, read and track your progress without a connection. Sign in and your library syncs across your devices when you are back online. EASY ON THE EYES A warm light theme for daytime and a proper dark theme for night, following your system setting or your own choice. • Garbled scans are caught now: lines the text recognition could not read are left out, and SnapRead offers to retake the page instead of saving nonsense. • A framing guide on the capture screen helps you fill the frame with a single page. • Capture now asks which book the pages belong to, and you can switch books from the same screen. • "Pick up where you left off" points at the book you actually read last, not the one you added last. • Hold − or + to change reading speed quickly. • Statistics fixed: your average speed can no longer be higher than your best, and short sessions show in seconds instead of "0m". • Sync across devices is now correctly shown as a Pro feature instead of looking switched on for everyone. • New Support section in Settings: help, contact us, rate the app, privacy policy and terms.
