Spectral now holds its pitch. Switching a captured sound between Cloud, Loop and Spectral could shift its tuning by as much as a seventh of a semitone. It doesn't any more. Shape the spectral pad Tilt leans it onto its fundamental or opens up its top. Harmonics thins it from a full bank down to a single pure tone. Shimmer can now stack a fifth as well as an octave, or both. None of them change how loud the pad is, so you can hunt for a sound without chasing it on the fader. Position stays a cloud At the extreme ends of its travel, Position used to collapse the grain cloud into a buzz. Now it stays a texture wherever you put it. The plugin The Pad view's panel finally has room: every window button is reachable, and the character pad grows with the window. In Sliders view each card says which window it belongs to and wears that window's colour, the mixer sits in even rows, and Cloud's controls no longer run off the bottom of a maximised window. Double tap any control — a fader included — to put it back to its default. New: Poly and Solo. In Solo, starting a window releases whatever else is sounding, so eight windows play as one changing voice rather than a chord that only grows. Host tempo sync is now free in the plugin. The unlock buys the other six windows and MIDI control.

The play and pause buttons show how many grabs they'll affect, replaced grabs fade out over their release instead of vanishing, and a file source gets its own play/pause.
