Poolix is a billiards game built around one idea: the balls should behave exactly the way you expect. A deterministic physics engine running at 480 Hz drives every shot, so what you aim for is what happens on the table.
TWO DISCIPLINES, ONE APP
• 8-Ball — classic American pool. Solids or stripes, open table, ball in hand, all the real rules.
• 3-Cushion — carom billiards. No pockets, three balls, and the cue ball has to hit three cushions before the second ball. Simple to learn, endless to master.
PLAY HOWEVER YOU LIKE
• Solo against the computer with three difficulty levels, from relaxed to expert.
• Two players on the same device, taking turns.
• Online: get matched with a random opponent, invite a friend with a 6-digit code, or challenge them by nickname or email.
SHOOT LIKE A PRO
• Drag on the table to aim; a guide line shows where the cue ball is headed.
• Choose your cue control: a power slider or a natural pull-back-and-release stroke.
• Apply spin — draw, follow and side english — by picking the strike point on the cue ball.
• Turn on Pro mode to hide aiming lines for both players and play it straight.
CLIMB AND COLLECT
• A global leaderboard ranks players by wins.
• Earn badges for your first win, a flawless 3-cushion match, a four-ball run and more.
• Track your stats and pick your cloth colour — green, blue or burgundy.
Local and computer matches never require an account. Online play uses a quick sign-in with Apple, Google or Facebook. Poolix is free to play and shows an occasional ad between matches.
