EpubTidy brings desktop-class eBook management—metadata editing, cover replacement, library checks, and EPUB cleanup—directly to your phone. Fix the details, improve formatting for smaller screens, and export an updated EPUB to your preferred reading app without needing a computer.
EDIT THE DETAILS THAT MATTER
Correct titles, authors, publishers, languages, identifiers, and series information. Replace a mismatched cover with one you choose. Your changes are saved into the EPUB, so they travel with the book when you export it.

Book Match looks up book information and cover options for you to compare. Review suggestions field by field, keep the original where you prefer it, and apply only the changes you select.

The Tidy dashboard checks your library for missing details, missing covers, repeated identifiers, and possible duplicates. Smart collections bring books that need review together, helping you decide what to fix next.
CLEAN UP THE READING EXPERIENCE
Unusual spacing, invisible characters, redundant HTML, and restrictive publisher styles can make an EPUB difficult to read on a phone.
Clean & Optimize analyzes the file and lets you choose which repairs to apply. Clean up common OCR formatting artifacts, normalize HTML and CSS, and improve mobile layouts while preserving the book’s metadata and reading order.
IMPORT, ORGANIZE, AND EXPORT
Import one EPUB or several at once, with progress shown as your files are processed. Open EPUBs from the Files app, organize them in your library, and share the updated files when they are ready.
READ AND LISTEN
Check your edited book in the built-in reader. Adjust fonts, spacing, margins, and reading themes to suit you.
Listen with Read Aloud using downloadable offline AI voices powered by Apple ML, accelerated by the Apple Neural Engine, alongside Supertonic 3 and Kokoro. Choose from the languages and voices available for each model.
YOUR BOOKS STAY ON YOUR DEVICE
No account is required. EpubTidy processes your EPUB files locally without uploading your books. Metadata editing, library checks, cleanup, reading, and export work offline. Book Match requires an internet connection, and AI voice models require an initial download.
EpubTidy works with user-provided, DRM-free EPUB files. It does not include a downloadable book catalog or remove DRM.
