Mvp Garment is an internal quality-control (QC) and material-wastage
tracking tool for garment manufacturing. It is used by QC staff,
managers, and administrators of a garment production business to record
inspection results at every stage of the production line.
QC staff use the app on the factory floor to record inspection results
at each of 12 production checkpoints, from raw-material receiving
through cutting, printing, sewing and finishing, to final QC before
warehousing. For each checkpoint they record quantities received,
quantities passed, defects and scrap, along with photos documenting any
defect found.
The app is built for the conditions of a workshop floor: large touch
targets for gloved hands, high-contrast text readable in direct
sunlight, and full offline operation. Reports created without a network
connection are queued on the device and sync automatically once
connectivity returns.
The camera serves two purposes: photographing product defects to attach
to an inspection report, and scanning QR codes printed on production
batch tags to identify the correct order and batch.
All interface labels are in Vietnamese, matching the language of the
workshop staff who use this tool daily.
