Device FootPrints
Device FootPrints
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Device Footprints helps families and small teams stay connected and build healthier digital habits — with everyone's knowledge and consent.
See where your loved ones are, understand how their devices are being used, and set sensible boundaries, all from one simple dashboard.
WHO IT'S FOR
• Parents who want to know their children arrived safely and how much time they spend on apps
• Families who share their location with each other for peace of mind
• Small teams and organizations that manage company devices transparently
Device Footprints is NOT a covert tracking app. Every monitored member joins the group knowingly — by accepting an invite or entering a join code — and monitoring is always visible on their device.
KEY FEATURES
• Live Location
See the latest location of every group member on a map. Configure how often location updates, on which days, and during which hours — so tracking happens only when it should.
• Screen Time & App Usage
Understand daily screen time at a glance. See which apps are used most, spot trends over time, and use real data to have better conversations about digital habits.
• Activity Timeline
A clear day-by-day timeline of device activity for each member you're responsible for.
• Groups & Roles
Organize members into groups with a flexible hierarchy — a family, a class, or a team. Assign reviewer rights so the right people (and only they) can view activity.
• Easy Onboarding
Invite members with a link or a simple join code. Each member signs in with their own phone number — no passwords to remember.
• Notifications
Stay informed with alerts that matter, without noise.
• Multi-language
Available in multiple languages.
PRIVACY & TRANSPARENCY
• Monitoring is consent-based: members join a group themselves and can see that tracking is active
• Data is visible only to authorized reviewers in your group
• Location and usage collection follow the schedule you configure — nothing is collected outside the windows you set
• You can stop tracking or leave a group at any time
PERMISSIONS
Device Footprints requests Location and Usage Access permissions on monitored devices. These are required for location sharing and screen-time features and are only used for the functionality described above.
