Definitions are set in a classic book typeface, with the modern sense first — no wading through obsolete meanings from 1611 to find out what a word means today. History and favorites. Every word you look up is kept (on your device) so you can find it again, and a heart saves the keepers. Definitions come from the English Wiktionary, written by thousands of volunteer editors, and are used under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 license.
