Listen to anything you read.
The article you saved for later, the contract from work, the book you’re halfway through. Narraloud reads them to you in natural voices that live right on your device.
Natural voices run on your device, so narration works offline, nothing meters your listening, and your reading stays private.
Books. PDFs. Links. Even the page sitting in front of you.
Import what you want to read, press play, and listen while you walk, commute, cook, work, or simply give your eyes a break.
NATURAL VOICES. RIGHT ON YOUR DEVICE.
Narraloud uses neural speech models that run directly on your phone. Narration works offline, on a plane, in a tunnel, anywhere, and there is no account required just to start listening.
Dozens of voices across seven languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, and Portuguese, each reading its own language natively.
Just open something and listen.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your reading is personal. Narraloud’s narration runs on your device, so your documents are never uploaded to a server just to be spoken aloud.
What you read is your business.
NO CREDITS. JUST LISTEN.
No minute packs, no word limits, and no meter running while you listen. Press play on a twenty-hour book and hear all of it.

MADE FOR MORE WAYS OF READING
For some people, listening is convenient. For others, it’s how reading becomes possible.
Narraloud is built with accessibility as a core part of the product: full VoiceOver support, Dynamic Type throughout the app, dyslexia-friendly and hyperlegible reading fonts, and synchronized highlighting that lets you see each word as you hear it.
It’s especially useful for readers with dyslexia or low vision, people who process information better when they hear it, and anyone who’d simply rather listen.
NARRALOUD PLUS
Narraloud reads aloud for free, forever. Plus adds the power tools: export any document as an audiobook, get imports cleaned and structured automatically, use the full voice catalog in VoiceOver and every other app, and teach the pronunciation dictionary your names and jargon.
Subscription plans include a 7-day free trial. You can also buy the Lifetime plan, own it for good, and get every feature we ship next at no extra cost.

Very useful for listening to long emails and articles
Demerzel13
I used to bookmark when I saw a long tweet or a blog post mark an email or text message as unread to read later. I never read my bookmarks.. Now I just paste the URL or directly “share” the text into Narraloud and listen to my reading list when I walk, commute or washing the dishes.

Language issues
JassSarah17
The app says the narrator is speaking in “English” but it is not, I tried multiple times changing the language to English and nothing worked
Developer Response
Thank you for telling us, and we're sorry you had this experience - the book may have been encrypted or copy-protected. Many ebooks from online stores and library apps scramble the text so that only apps approved by the seller can open it. When a copy-protected book is added to the current version of Narraloud, the app tries to read the scrambled text, and every voice speaks it as is written, which sounds like a different language because the text itself is scrambled. We've fixed this, and an upcoming update tells you right away when a book is copy-protected or unreadable. Books without DRM read normally, as do PDFs, web articles, pasted text, and camera scans. If your book didn't come from a store or library, please write to support@argmaxinc.com, or use Send Feedback inside the app, and we will fix it for you as soon as possible.
Reads Alien languages

All the voices options speaks only unrecognizable Alien language and no others language available .
Developer Response
Thank you for trying Narraloud, and we’re sorry it sounded like that for you. Narraloud supports English, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, and Portuguese, and it detects the language of the input text to help pronounce each word appropriately. Text in other languages, such as Russian or Chinese, isn’t supported yet, and today the voices read it as English by default, which can sound like what you were experiencing. We are working to expand our language support, and will make it clearer in the future if a language is unsupported in the app. If your text was actually in one of the supported languages above, please email support@argmaxinc.com or send feedback from Settings in the app, and we’ll look into it.
• Voices can be chosen per document and remembered next time you resume them. New documents start in your default voice.
• Listen faster: playback speeds now go up to 3x, in quarter steps
• Document cleanup now catches citations better, as well as footnote markers and figure captions in web articles
• Better pronunciation of acronyms, email addresses, units, and numbers
• Fixes and performance improvements, including steadier playback, cleaner web and scanned-page imports, and more reliable sharing into Narraloud
