Rotary lives quietly in your menu bar and does exactly one thing: it lets you dial a phone number in seconds, without ever opening another app. Click the menu bar icon, type a number, and press Return (or click the arrow) — Rotary hands it off to your Mac's default calling app, like FaceTime, to complete the call. HOW IT WORKS • Click the Rotary icon in your menu bar • Type a phone number — Rotary formats it as you go: (555) 123-4567 • Press Return or click the arrow to call • Rotary closes automatically so you're right back to what you were doing WHY ROTARY • No dock icon, no clutter — just a lightweight menu bar utility • No app to switch to and search around in • No contact lookup required — just type the digits and go • Built entirely for speed: open, type, call • Older Macs that don't include the Phone app don't have an easy way to trigger FaceTime to dial a regular phone number Rotary doesn't manage contacts, store call history, or make calls itself — it simply gets you to a dial-out as fast as possible using the calling app you already have set up on your Mac.
