Boringware Mirror
Fruit-company sheets of glass
Only for Mac
$9.99
Mac
Mirror puts the sheets of glass from a certain fruit company on the big screen on your desk.
Mirror puts your iPhone or iPad screen in a window on your Mac, over USB. Sketch on your iPad while you record a screencast, demo an app you're building, or show handwritten notes in a presentation. Plug in, click Connect, and your device appears, crisp and full-resolution.
PLUG IN AND IT APPEARS
Connect your device with a USB cable and Mirror detects it automatically. No drivers, no AirPlay, no account. Click Connect and a streaming window opens. That's the whole setup.
BUILT FOR SCREEN RECORDING
USB gives you a stable, low-latency picture that doesn't stutter when your network is busy, so your recordings and demos stay smooth. Double-click the window to go full screen, edge to edge, at full resolution.
SEVERAL DEVICES AT ONCE
Connect a handful of iPhones and iPads at once. Each device gets its own window, and you switch between them from the Devices menu or the dock.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Connect your iPhone or iPad over USB
2. Tap Trust on your device if iOS asks
3. Launch Mirror and click Connect
4. Your device screen appears in its own window
