• Book threads: use the ‹ › arrows beside the passage name to look back at earlier passages or read ahead. If you read ahead, tomorrow carries on from there. • A new welcome slide explains book threads.

New: read a book of the Bible, one passage at a time. Start a new thread and choose a book. Each passage comes with a reflection on the whole passage, questions to ponder and a prayer. Read slowly and Context work on the full passage, in WEB, BSB or KJV.

New: Context. Tap it under the day's verse to see who wrote the passage, who first heard it, and what was happening at the time. The verse buttons now sit in one row: Read slowly, Context and Full passage.

New: "Read it slowly" sits beside the verse. Tap it and the passage stays on screen while a few of its words light up, one at a time, so you can pause on each. The ponder questions now begin straight away. On long passages, the Continue button stays at the bottom of the screen and the verse scrolls along with you.

Pondering now begins with the verse itself. Tap Begin and Ponder walks you through the passage a few words at a time, so you can slow down and notice what stands out before the questions. You can skip straight to the questions whenever you like.

- New text size setting: make entries easier to read. - Your daily reminder now changes its wording from day to day. - Small layout fixes and improvements, including better spacing on newer iPhones.

Some entries now include a short quote from a classic Christian writer — Spurgeon, Watson, Rutherford, Edwards and others — shown with the work it came from. Quotes appear on about one entry in five, and every one is reproduced word for word from the original.

Fixed a layout problem on iPhone where part of the New Thread screen stayed covered while the keyboard was open, hiding the fields you were typing into.

Starting a thread is simpler. - Today and Threads now show you how to begin, instead of leaving you with nothing to tap - Your first thread's entry is ready the moment you create it, with no extra step

Ponder now moves the way it looks like it should. Swipe between the questions, or tap the dots to jump straight to one. And coming back no longer starts you over. Once you have been through a thread's questions, you return to the full list with your notes — ready to sit with one again, or add another note to it.

The Ponder section has been reshaped. Questions now arrive one at a time, revealed when you are ready rather than as a list to get through. The first question is anchored in a specific phrase from the day's passage. You can write a note against any single question, and each note carries its question with it into your thread journal.

A calmer Settings screen, and the welcome introduction is there whenever you want it again. • New "About Ponder" in Settings replays the short introduction to threads, daily entries and notes. • Removed the test notification button and a redundant status line from the reminder section.

Three translations. Tap WEB, BSB or KJV on any passage to read it another way. Set your preferred version in Settings and your daily notification quotes that one. Export your journal. Send a thread's entries and notes anywhere through the share sheet. Choose your timezone, so the daily prompt arrives when you actually expect it. Fixes: the keyboard no longer covers the field you're typing in when you write a note. Signing out no longer clears what you'd written. Faster, steadier daily generation.
