PromptBudget helps developers pace a weekly AI usage allowance from the Mac menu bar using a compact menu app, detailed or the main app. Keep your computer awake with one toggle

Your daily usage will have an impact on the days ahead while the app rebalances the % left for you to use. It's a smart calculator that aims to help you stay on target and help you not run out of tokens before the end of the week.

This allows the app to instantly inform you and distribute your weekly allowance the way you like prefer it.

PromptBudget tracks remaining allowance percentages. It does not claim to measure raw token counts, API spend, or every provider’s usage window.
