Calculating layouts is free, for as many parts and panels as a real job has, and a free plan is the whole plan: the cut map, the utilisation and the area balance. Free works on one project at a time, with one material in it, and a fixed 3 mm saw kerf that the result screen states every time.
Everything is computed on your device. There is no account and no project leaves the phone. Only the advertising in the free version needs a connection, and Pro carries none. Sawgrid works in a basement workshop with no signal.

Sawgrid now shows ads. A banner sits in Projects, on the result and in the editor, and one full screen ad appears when an optimisation has finished, before the result opens.
Nothing is shown on the cut map, in saw table mode or over a measurement field. In those places a misread number costs a panel.
Sawgrid Pro removes the advertising and is still available as a subscription or as a one time purchase. With Pro you see no ads at all, not even in the moment after launch while the purchase is still being read.
The settings footer claimed that nothing needs a connection. With advertising in the free version that was no longer true, and it has been corrected in all ten languages.
Where consent for ads is required, Advertising privacy choices sits under Legal in the settings and can be changed at any time.
