Collect cosplayers like trading cards at conventions! Scan, capture, and rate costumes. Debuting at Youmacon 2026 this Halloween weekend in Detroit.
CosDex turns conventions into a real-life collector card game.
Scan a cosplayer's QR code to "capture" them — take a photo, assign a rank, and add them to your personal card book. Every cosplayer you meet at the con becomes part of your growing collection.
Cosplaying yourself? Register your own costume so other collectors can find and capture you. Watch your Live Rank climb as more people capture and rate you throughout the day.
FEATURES:
• Scan-and-capture gameplay with a built-in consent flow
• Browse a character library organized by franchise and category
• Track your collection in a book-style Card Book, organized by sets
• Add friends and browse their collections
• Unlock achievements as you play
• Works even for cosplayers without the app, with an in-person consent flow
CosDex is built for real conventions — register your cosplay each day of a multi-day event, track your progress, and see how you rank among everyone else there.
