Your cursor drags a whip behind it. Real rope physics, three whips to pick from.
Your cursor now has a whip. That's the app.
Whipcrack hangs a fully simulated whip off your mouse pointer. Move the
mouse and it swings, trails, and slaps against the edges of the screen.
Flick it fast enough and it cracks, out loud.
THREE WHIPS
• Bullwhip, classic leather. Tapered, quick, cracks easily.
• Steel Chain, heavy and stiff. Swings slow, hits the edges hard.
• Plasma, long, light and floppy, and it glows.
CRACK ON CLICK
Switch it on and every click snaps the whip. Your clicks still land in
whatever you're actually working in, the whip never swallows one. Off by
default.
TUNE IT
• Size and gravity
• Crack power and sensitivity
• Volume, or no sound at all
• Appear on launch, or summon it when you want it
STAYS OUT OF THE WAY
• Click-through. The overlay never intercepts a click, a drag, or a keypress.
• Follows your pointer across every display.
• Repaints only the few hundred pixels the whip actually occupies, so it
barely registers on your CPU.
• Sandboxed. No network access, no data collected, no account, no sign-in.
It does not make you work faster. It just implies it.
