NihonGo's App Store page now speaks eight more languages: Korean, Traditional Chinese, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian and Vietnamese. The app itself is unchanged, and its interface is still English and Japanese only — that is stated plainly on every new listing rather than discovered after installing.

Nothing changed inside the app this time. This update rewrites how NihonGo describes itself on the App Store — a clearer subtitle, and a first screenshot that finally shows the thing the app is actually for: your own voice, drawn against the target pitch. If the listing is what brought you here, that was the point.

NihonGo can now ask what you think of it — once, and only right after you've nailed a Sprint. No popups on your first day, no begging after a bad run. Small fixes and dependency updates under the hood.

Your Progress screen is now real. Every answer in every mode is recorded per accent pattern; accuracy appears once there's enough data, and your daily pair now targets your measurably weakest pattern. Practice calendar now shows your actual practice days.

New: an onboarding tour that actually shows you the three training modes — Ear Sprint, Pattern Drill, and Pitch Karaoke — before you start. Pitch Karaoke now rotates through 26 words instead of one. Clearer errors if a purchase doesn't go through.
