Monitor the live rooms you follow and automatically save each broadcast as MP3 audio or original-quality MP4 video—right on your Mac.
Live Stream Recorder is a native macOS app that monitors the live rooms you add and automatically saves a broadcast when it begins. You can step away from the screen without missing the moment a creator goes live.\n\nKey features\n• Automatic monitoring: Waits quietly while a room is offline, then starts recording when it goes live.\n• Broad platform support: Recognizes Douyin, Kuaishou, Bilibili, Huya, Douyu, RedNote, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, and more, plus direct .m3u8 and .flv streams.\n• Audio or video: Save compact MP3 audio at 320 kbps, or original-quality MP4 video.\n• Built-in sign-in browser: For platforms that require an account, sign in, open a specific live room, and save its address and credentials without leaving the app.\n• Recording library: Browse recent recordings by platform, date, duration, and file size. Search, open, reveal in Finder, or move files to the Trash.\n• Menu bar access: Monitoring continues after the main window closes. Check task status, run an immediate check, or reopen the app from the menu bar.\n• Flexible storage: Choose where recordings are saved. Changing the recording mode affects only the next recording.\n• Privacy first: Live-room details, platform credentials, and settings stay on your Mac. Eligible lifetime users can optionally sync a lightweight history index through iCloud.\n\nLive Stream Recorder is made for Mac users who want a dependable way to archive live audio, original-quality video, or an organized history of broadcasts. Record only content you have permission to save, and follow each platform’s terms and applicable law.
